Kajal Aggarwal is one of India's most popular actresses, known for her work across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. Born on 19 June 1985 in Mumbai to a Punjabi family with roots in Amritsar, she began her career as a model before transitioning to films. Her father Vinay Aggarwal is a textile entrepreneur and her mother Suman Aggarwal manages her business affairs. Her sister, Nisha Aggarwal, is also an actress in the film industry.
Film Career
Kajal made her acting debut with a small role in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... before finding her footing in Telugu cinema with Lakshmi Kalyanam (2007). She rose to national fame through Magadheera (2009), which became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. Since then she has starred in numerous blockbusters across languages.
