Taylor Swift Born December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift is an American country singer and actress. It was at the age of 17 that his first single, "Tim McGraw" was released, featured on his first album entitled "Taylor Swift", which went platinum. Her second album "Fearless" was released in November 2008. She became the artist who sold the most albums that year in the United States.

In January 2011, Taylor Swift sold 20 million albums and 33 million downloaded singles. On October 25, 2011, Speak Now, Taylor Swift's third studio album, was released.

She made the headlines in the United States after an incident which took place during the MTV awards on September 13, 2009. While receiving an award for her music video, "You Belong With Me" American rapper Kanye West does burst on stage and speak to question the artist's merit.

Note that she is the cousin of Hayley Williams, singer of the group Paramore.
